The Crossing is a 50ha industrial estate for Cadence Property Group and is located at 320 Leakes Road, Truganina, approximately 20km West of Melbourne. The estate consists of a 7-stage subdivision delivering 68 lots ranging in size from 1,250m2 to 104,800m2.

In addition to the subdivisional works the project was responsible for the delivery of multiple external works on behalf of authorities including:

• A 3-stage construction of a Melbourne Water Wetland/Retarding Basin (RB) which services in excess of 700ha,
• A DCP funded 730m length of Forsyth Road from Leakes Road to the site’s northern boundary,
• The delivery of the northern leg of the signalised intersection between Forsyth Road and Leakes Road which will provide key access to major road infrastructure for end users.

DCE was engaged by Cadence to complete civil engineering design and construction services as well as the Head Infrastructure Consultant role to assist in managing multiple consultants required for the projects.
