Project outline

The Crossing is a $250 million mixed-use business park by Cadence Property Group, located on a 50-hectare site at the intersection of Leakes and Forsyth Roads, Truganina. Centrally positioned within one of Australia’s fastest-growing residential and employment catchments, it offers 73 diverse lots with multiple signalised intersections, parkland connections, and access to external amenities.

DCE is delivering project management, engineering design, and construction management services. Through extensive discussions with Melbourne Water, DCE achieved a cost-effective solution, benefiting both Cadence and Melbourne Water.

DCE’s bulk earthworks analysis identified a net material import requirement for The Crossing. A Melbourne Water wetland adjacent to the site was constructed as part of a scheme, enabling Cadence to source affordable fill material while reducing Melbourne Water’s disposal costs by repurposing suitable clay onsite.
