Established in 1883, the Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) has enjoyed a rich and vibrant history of thoroughbred horse racing at its unique amphitheatre racecourse nestled in the heart of Moonee Ponds. Renowned for the W.S. Cox Plate, Australasia’s Weight-for-Age Championship, The Valley is also Australia’s leading night racing venue.

MVRC is embarking on a historic transformation of the racecourse precinct delivering a new world-class racing facility that is supported by an urban designed residential, retail, commercial and lifestyle precinct.

DCE is proud to be Civil Engineers and Project Managers to the Moonee Valley Racecourse Redevelopment. DCE has been involved from the very start assisting MVRC in preparing an overall Racecourse Masterplan created to ensure the long term viability of horse racing at the Racecourse and creating the ‘Valley of Tomorrow’.
