The 28 Jones Rd, Brooklyn project involved the delivery of a container stacking yard for Cadence Property Group. The site is now already home to Oceania Container Services (subsidiary of global shipping line COSCO) who have a 50,000-square-metre concrete hardstand capable of storing 8500 shipping containers.

As part of the project delivery extensive Melbourne Water works were required. This included the construction of two large scheme drains up to 1900mm in diameter, the upgrade of the old Main Out Fall Sewer which is heritage listed and construction of a sedimentation pond.

A key element of the project involved converting the abandoned Main Outfall Sewer (MOS) into a Melbourne Water stormwater drain. This involved extensive preliminary investigation, consultation with Melbourne Water and Heritage Victoria.

Phase 1 on the project which involved the delivery of the scheme drains was completed in 2017. Phase 2 which involves the restoration of the MOS and construction of the sedimentation pond will commence in January 2019.
