Rodds Drain Upgrade was for 900m of Melbourne Water channel upgrade works located in Dandenong South.
DCE were engaged by Little Projects to undertake the design, hydraulic modelling, project management and construction supervision services to complete the Rodds Drain upgrade. The Rodds Drain channel upgrade included twin 1.80m x 1.50m box culverts which were constructed to allow Fox Drive to cross over the Rodds Drain channel. It also included seven 1.80m x 0.60m box culverts which were constructed to allow Taylors Road construction. Other works included rock lining of batters along the channel where the grade of the batter was steeper than 1 in 3.
