Engaged by MAB Corporation, DCE delivered end-to-end civil engineering services for the $44 million Aitken Boulevard extension between Donnybrook Road and Mt Ridley Road in Mickleham. The 3.2km arterial upgrade provides the Merrifield community with a faster, more reliable connection into Craigieburn in as little as six minutes and improves access to key services and destinations.
Our scope included master planning, design development, servicing strategies, contract documentation, contract administration, and construction management, supported by close collaboration with MAB and key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
Responding to the rapid population growth of Melbourne’s north, the extension strengthens connectivity, reduces congestion, and delivers long-term benefits for residents, businesses, and the wider community.
