DCE Soccer Tournament Raises $3,400 for the Property Industry Foundation

Wednesday 6th of May 3:00 PM

Dalton Consulting Engineers (DCE)'s Annual Indoor Soccer Tournament is continuing to kick goals for Victoria’s homeless youth with the 2020 tournament raising $3,400 for the Property Industry Foundation (PIF).

Established in 2008, the tournament provides an opportunity for organisations in the property sector to get active, network with other like-minded organisations and, most importantly, raise funds for a vital cause.

DCE’s Marnie Dalton has been involved in the tournament since its inception: “allocating the funds raised to the Property Industry Foundation has been the perfect fit for the tournament in the last four years. DCE, along with all the participating companies, are thrilled to be able contribute to the important work undertaken by PIF by simply playing a game of soccer after work. It just goes to show that making a difference doesn’t always need to need to be a large gesture, it can be as simple as catching up with our industry colleagues for a friendly – although sometimes competitive! – game of soccer”.

Many thanks to the ten teams that participated in 2020; BMD, Civ2Con, DCE (two teams), DPM Consulting Group, Fortunato Group, Hellier McFarland, Millar Merrigan, Montdami Construction and Taylors. These teams competed over six weeks for the coveted championship trophy, with Fortunato FC (Fortunato Group) emerging as the 12th Annual Indoor Soccer Tournament Champions!
