A proud moment for our team this International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on the progress being made toward greater equity in our industry and the work still ahead.
We were incredibly proud to see DCE featured in the Herald Sun after being named among Australia’s Top 101 Workplaces for Women by global jobs network WORK180.
As a privately owned engineering consultancy operating in a traditionally male-dominated industry, this recognition means a great deal. It reflects the deliberate steps we have taken to create a workplace where people can thrive through flexibility, support, and meaningful career opportunities.
Members of our team also attended the WORK180 International Women’s Day Lunch last Friday, where DCE was recognised as a finalist in two categories at the 2026 WORK180 Equitable Workplace Awards:
• Flexible Working (SME)
• Employee Support and Safety Services
We are encouraged by the progress made so far, while recognising there is still more to do. Creating a truly equitable workplace requires ongoing commitment and continuous improvement.
In the spirit of this year’s theme, #BalanceTheScales, we remain focused on helping create an industry where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
