The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role for an experienced civil engineering professional who combines technical depth with strong commercial capability and people leadership.
As Project Director, you will lead complex and high-value projects from strategy through to delivery, ensuring commercial performance, programme alignment and technical excellence. You will mentor senior engineers and Project Managers, provide clear direction across multidisciplinary teams, and play a key role in client engagement and stakeholder relationships.
Beyond project delivery, you will contribute to the strategic growth of the business – identifying opportunities, strengthening industry partnerships and helping shape operational performance and long-term success.
Construction Engineer
Wurundjeri
Richmond, Melbourne VIC
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role provides the opportunity to oversee the delivery of civil construction works across a range of projects.
You will monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with approved designs, regulatory requirements and codes of practice, while maintaining strong oversight of OH&S standards and identifying any non-conformances. Working closely with Project Managers, contractors and suppliers, you will resolve technical and compliance issues, provide practical feedback and support efficient project outcomes.
You will also maintain accurate and timely project documentation, contribute to quality assurance processes, and mentor less experienced team members – playing an important role in delivering safe, compliant and well-managed construction projects.

We believe that our engineers should gain a strong design base before moving to other areas of the business, as this leads to higher performing, more well-rounded engineers. As a Graduate Engineer you will gain insight into all areas of the firm, from design to construction and project management, but your initial role will be strongly design focussed, with room to progress into other areas of interest as you progress your career.
