DCE was engaged by GRD Properties to develop preliminary servicing plans for this greenfield site, which is bordered on all sides by existing developments.
As part of the stormwater strategy for the project, DCE developed RORB and TUFLOW models to determine the impact of flood events on the site and investigate options for waterway realignment and rehabilitation.
The stormwater constraints on the site included external contributing catchments of more than 90Ha of residential land, variable site grades and numerous existing main drains.
Melbourne Water’s acceptance of DCE’s TUFLOW modelling demonstrates our capacity for hydrological and hydraulic analysis.
